History
altreforme is a young and innovatory brand, with deep roots based on a long entrepreneurial tradition. altreforme is established in 2008 as productive diversification of Fontana Group. The engineering sector, engaged from more than fifty years with the manufacturing of metal bodies for the most worldwide well-known and prestigious automotive companies, gives shape to a creative project exclusively intended for the contemporary design world.
Particularly light and shining aluminium sheets, usually applied in the industry, are being revived in altreforme, generating refined and high personality furnishings. Ambitious styles, technology and exclusive patents allow to challenge consolidated shapes and to give life to difficult sinuosity, never seen before with aluminium. Philosophy
We provide estimates, apply expertise to the design field and give shape to completely new and different ideas which are normally impossible to realize in aluminium for those who don't have the same technological know-how as the Group do. Create special works, furniture with a high personality, that talk about the automotive world's passion, magic and emotions. Contemporary alternatives to sculptures and art works, perfectly suitable to be integrated into the Italian design tradition.
altreforme and Fontana Group are pursuing a green philosophy. The works are entirely manufactured by aluminium, 100% recyclable and eco-sustainable; they come from non-polluting and zero environmental impact production processes.
