Anty Pansera, Luisa Bocchietto, Loredana Sarti, Patrizia Scarzella are the founders of the DComeDesign Association for the promotion of female creativity.
www.dcomedesign.org
All four women have a vast and well-documented experience in the field of design as designers, journalists and design critics as well as directors of companies and institutions.
The idea of founding this association, which enjoys the patronage of the ADI, derives from the common experience acquired during the “DComeDesign, la mano, la mente, il cuore” exhibition, a review of female design that told the story of the work of women designers from the beginning of the 1900s up to the present day.
The exhibition was presented in 2008 as part of the series of events organized for the Torino World Design Capital initiative.
The exhibition subsequently moved beyond Turin to other towns and cities: Bologna, Omegna, Alexandria (Egypt).
This project has recently been awarded the Nomination at the XXII Compasso d’Oro ADI.
The association is currently organizing a series of activities and launching a number of exhibitions which all focus on female creativity.
There are two different categories of initiatives underway:
- Social design
- Historical design
