This collection will be officially launched as world premiere during the evening of the opening (April 8, 18/21) and in the presence of celebrities from the world of motorcycling and important names from the world of design as Marco Ferreri, designer known all over the world. The event will take place at the PopUpDesignGallery - a concept store cum gallery, interactive show case and meeting point for various on and off lineinitiatives with a special regard for new tendencies in the design and fashion scene. PopUpDesignGallery is situated in the very heart of the Brera district, and has hosted since November the Regenesi concept store.
This is Regenesi, a company whose origins in May 2008 were due to the intuition and enthusiasm of Maria Silvia Pazzi and that is on the market since March 2009.
Regenesi designs, manufactures and markets original design products – with a high reputation for quality – produced from post-consumer recycled materials.
The intention is to promote “sustainable beauty” and so represent a genuine lifestyle.
It amounts to a storehouse of products of various types, ranging from household objects to fashion accessories. The common thread lies in the novel use of post-consumer materials – previously employed only for goods in everyday use or incorporated in non-visible product components – that are used, from now on, not only in a functional, healthy and appropriate way but also to generate something attractive and up-to-the-minute. Aluminium, glass, plastic, leather and cardboard – when treated with novel processing techniques that ensure quality standards identical to those of virgin raw materials - become desirable objects.
The company is responding, in this way, to the craving for eco-sustainability, an ever more widespread and popular demand in the modern world.
The ambition is actually to promote the imprinting of Italian design and the quality of a product that is also ethically attractive – on a worldwide community of “responsible consumers”, leaving its mark in a field in which we are the envy of the world and to which it adds enormous value, the Italian Lifestyle.
The collections are created by the best-known international designers, such as matali crasset, Marco Ferreri, Giulio Iacchetti, Setsu e Shinobu Ito, Denis Santachiara, Kaisli Kiuru, who - through interpretations with unfamiliar materials and a different creative approach - have produced objects with the potential to excite and release new energy.
