Understate Milan presents a new selection of products designed in the 50's by famous people who have made ​​the history of design as Mategot, Grossman, Adnet, BBPR Cini Boeri and mixed in a setting that evokes a refined atmosphere and timeless lines.

Arflex

The new arflex productive plant of 35.000 sqm  is situated in the new industrial area in Giussano. The project has been realized by Arch. Felice Capellini and Carlo Colombo and it consists of two parts: the bigger houses the production, warehouses, the prototypes and photo-shoot rooms; in the second part there are the spaces of showrooms and offices, and within the end of 2012, the arflex museum will be created, a route along arflex history, with the original pieces as well as the photographic archive.

Understate

Understate stands as a benchmark for an exploring and trendsetting furniture culture. The ongoing research generates ever different ‘visuals’ and attracts the world of the stylists but also old and new clients always careful to single out “the piece.” This assumption is the basis of a new attitude that points toward a “total concept” of the house, always furnished with accessories and minisystems. Moreover, the search for new “system” partners aims at breaking free from standard relationships with best known brands, in order to propose solutions which will be almost always exclusive.
